Ramaphosa has no vision for SA: Maimane

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Democratic Alliance (DA) leader, Mmusi Maimane has re-iterated his view about President Cyril Ramaphosa’s first 100 days in office saying it’s just “hype but no action”.

He says the continuing increases on fuel prices, which will have a knock-on effect on the poor are a sign that Ramaphosa has no vision for South Africa.

Maimane will visit Noord Taxi Rank at the Johannesburg CBD on Wednesday to engage residents and taxi operators following the fuel price increases.

He will be accompanied by the party’s Gauteng provincial leadership.

Motorists will now fork out more than R15 a litre for petrol after an increase of 82 cents.

Since President Ramaphosa took office, there has been rapid fuel price increases from R13.76 to R15.79 on Wednesday.

Maimane says South Africa needs political change. He says it needs a party that asks all South Africans to work for the future of all South Africans.
