Larsen insists that this is going to be a tough match as he knows how Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker works having met him a number of times before.

Chippa United coach Clinton Larsen says that he knows enough about Absa Premiership newcomer Stellenbosch FC, whom they meet in a league opener at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday afternoon.

Though he is cautious about meeting Stellenbosch, Larsen has also added that this is going to be a tricky game as both sides seek to open the season with a bang.

Even though he knows the visitors, Larsen insists that this is going to be a tough match as he knows how Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker works having met him a number of times before.

Meanwhile, the former Manning Rangers and Orlando Pirates midfielder used the two-week training camp in Cape Town to blend his new and old players.

He insists that the Chilli Boyz are going to be more competitive this season compared to how they were in the past term where they flirted with relegation. – Report by Monwabisi Jimlongo
