The wife of former cabinet Minister Malusi Gigaba has been released on bail.
Norma Gigaba was arrested by the Hawks on Friday for alleged assault and malicious damage to property.
She was being detained at a police station in Pretoria.
She is expected to appear at the Hatfield Magistrates Court on Monday after being granted bail of R5 000.
Hawks Hangwani Mulaudzi has told SABC News that more charges could be added against the former minister’s wife.
