A man accused of the murder of 16-year-old Machaka Radebe has told the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court that he will plead guilty to the charge.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ntlantla Jozi has pleaded with the court to release him on bail, saying he has two children and a pregnant wife. He has assured the court that he is not a flight risk.
Jozi says he is worried about the health of his child, who is constantly sick. He told the court that he has no previous convictions but has a pending matter of assault in Sterkspruit, where he was released on R1 000 bail.
He added that he is also accused of theft of a vehicle and he is also out on R2 000 bail in connection with that matter. Jozi is accused of the murder of Radebe, whose body was found in an open field with a stab wound to the back last month.
