The African National Congress (ANC) will on Monday hold the party’s 2019 elections manifesto workshop.
The workshop is set to take place at the St George’s Hotel in Irene outside Pretoria, where they are expected to discuss strategies for the party to remain in office after next year’s elections.
The ruling party’s support has continued to decline – it managed to win the 2014 elections with 62.2% of the votes, which is a drop from 2009’s 65.9%.
ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the opening address at the workshop.
