Jacob Zuma, Duduzane Zuma, and some members of the Gupta family and former SAA board chairperson Dudu Myeni will all be summoned.

President Jacob Zuma is to be summoned to appear before the Parliamentary Inquiry into Eskom.

Others that will be summoned are members of the Gupta family, the President’s son Duduzane and former SAA Board chairperson Dudu Myeni.

Several witnesses mentioned them at the Inquiry with relation to management decisions at the power utility.

On Wednesday, former Eskom Board chairperson Zola Tsoti and Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown appeared before the inquiry into Eskom ties to the Gupta family.

ANC Member of Parliament Mondli Gungubele says, “Based on the fact that a number of people had their names in one way or another implicated, in particular the Gupta family who have been cited several times, have been invited to come and clarify themselves on their own.”
