Students attending the University of Johannesburg voiced their thoughts and perspectives on a Winne Madikizela-Mandela Presidency in 1994 and what that would have meant for South Africa.

This follows Economic Freedom Front (EFF) leader Julius Malema making several comments regarding the ANC and Mama Winnie at her memorial service.

He went into detail on how the ANC cheated Mama Winnie out of an opportunity to be South Africa’s president, saying, “Winnie Mandela, the president we never had. Winnie Mandela, the president we were denied to have by men who suffered serious ego politics.”
