Stompie Seipei’s mother Joyce has told Mama Winnie’s family she holds no grudge against her.
Stompie Seipei was killed by Mandela Football club coach Jerry Richards in 1989.
Richards was subsequently sentenced for Stompie’s murder and died in prison in 2009.
Speaking after meeting the Mandela family, Seipei said she was welcomed by Mam’ Winnie’s daughters Zindzi and Zenani.
She says she came to Mam’ Winnie’s home to pay her last respects as the mother of the nation.
“As a member of the women’s league, I have no ill-feelings towards Mama Winnie. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to be here.”
“To the nation of South Africa, please stop listening to rumours,” says Joyce Seipei.
