Lindiwe Sisulu is among the seven contenders vying to replace Jacob Zuma as leader of the ANC during the December conference.

Human Settlements Minister and ANC presidential hopeful, Lindiwe Sisulu, says former ANC President Oliver Tambo had a strong moral background that guided him at all times. Sisulu addressed residents of Sedibeng, in Vanderbijlpark, this afternoon. She emphasised that Tambo valued and treasured his people.

Sisulu says his legacy will never die. “At the bottom of his heart what he treasure the most was humanity and morality nothing else and this is what he would like us to follow in the ANC to follow in his footsteps. What would would OR think of our present challenges, what advise would he give to us as a movement. What would Tambo say about a fractured ANC, a fractured alliance? What would he say about the divisions within us?”
