A five year old child who was reported missing in Soweto on Tuesday has been found.
Lethokuhle Ndeya’s family panicked when they discovered she wasn’t waiting outside her school as usual for her lift club.
Her uncle Katlego Mashigo says the next day her classmates revealed that she had left school with a friend.
“We found her in Snake park with the grandmother of a friend. They were well taken care of. The grandmother did not have a cellphone to notify us that she has a child that she does not know who is a friend to her grand daughter. We are relieved that she is alive more than anything. She got a lot of hugs. She was just worried why are people crying and why is everybody here,” Mashigo says.
