President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa will overcome the coronavirus.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation at eight o’clock this evening on developments regarding the country’s risk-adjusted strategy to manage the spread of COVID-19.

His address follows a number of meetings of Cabinet, the National Coronavirus Command Council, and the Presidential Coordinating Council. Currently, there are 76 334 positive coronavirus cases in South Africa.

More than 42 000 people have recovered.
