Reading Time: < 1 minute

Various political parties have converged on the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court calling for bail to be denied for three men accused of the murder of two young women in separate cases.

The two matters were postponed to today for bail application. Twenty-seven-year-old Ntlantla Jozi is accused of the murder of 16-year-old Machaka Radebe last month.

Radebe’s body was found in an open field two days after she was reported missing.

Meanwhile, in another matter, two men accused of the murder of 27-year-old Sibongile Ngwana made a brief appearance in the same court last week. The accused are 27-year-old Thabang Matekane and 33-year-old Lefu Lebeea.

Ngwana’s remains were discovered near a stream in Bloemfontein.
