Three people have been killed and six others seriously injured in two separate incidents in and around Nkowankowa outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.
A 37-year-old police constable allegedly shot and killed his father-in-law before shooting and wounding his girlfriend and his in-laws.
He was later found dead with a gun next to his body.
Meanwhile, two people were shot and killed allegedly by a 62-year-old man in a tavern.
The suspect was attacked and severely wounded by a group of people.
Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe has condemned the incidents saying that the police denounce the killings which are driven by a variety of aspects including domestic violence, liquor and others.
