The office of the Limpopo premier will on Monday indicate if Sports MEC Onicca Moloi will resign over a social media outburst linked to her failure to being elected to the African National Congress’ (ANC) PEC.
Political analyst, Elvis Masoga, has described the social media outburst as a sign of ill-discipline and political immaturity.
Moloi went to social media threatening to resign. Masoga says the situation could have been handled better.
“I think the MEC could have avoided jumping the gun and wait for the ANC leadership in Limpopo to decide who remains a deployee in government or not than to threaten to resign as a MEC on social media. To me I think its a symptom of ill discipline and political immaturity.”
