Reading Time: < 1 minute

Late activist Stompie Seipei’s mother has arrived at the home of struggle stalwart in Soweto.

She is to meet the family and pay her respects.

Earlier she said she had forgiven all those who were involved in her son’s murder in 1989.

Joyce Seipei spoke to the media at her home in Parys in the Free State.

Fourteen-year-old Stompie Seipei was kidnapped and killed by the former coach of the Mandela football club, Jerry Richardson, in 1989.

Former Police Commissioner George Fivaz has insisted that there was never evidence linking Mama Winnie to Seipei’s murder.
