Johannesburg Park Station was abuzz as commuters were surprised by the presence of African National Congress (ANC) President, Cyril Ramaphosa.
Ramaphosa arrived at Johannesburg Park Station on Monday morning, on a campaign trail ahead of the May 8 elections. He was interacting with hundreds of commuters who were travelling to and from work.
Ramaphosa was accompanied by David Makhura, ANC Gauteng provincial chairperson.
Commuters wasted no time in raising their concerns about buses and train services.
Ramaphosa’s visit to park station comes as the battle to win the Gauteng province intensifies among political parties.
Other ANC leaders are making their presence felt in other parts of the province.
