Gender activist and deputy chairperson of the South African National AIDS Council, Steve Letsike, has called on soccer authorities to pay Banyana Banyana as much as Bafana Bafana.
She was speaking during a World AIDS Day event in Soweto where she said South Africa needed to communicate HIV messages through different medium including sports, music and art…
“Banyana Banyana was never paid. I left soccer because girls are never paid and we know that’s what’s happening. Banyana Banyana must be fully paid like Bafana Bafana and I will leave it there.”
