Both ANC members at the conference and opposition party members tweeted their views as the world waits for the ruling party’s new leadership.
Ramaphosa: “There are things that I could have done better….” – a thread.
ANC presidential nominee candidate Cyril Ramaphosa’s last tweet was two days before the official opening of the national conference.
In what seems like his last words before knowing his fate, Ramaphosa posted a thread early on Thursday evening noting his plans and reflecting on his presidential race so far.
“There are things that I could have done better and focused more attention on.”
There are things that I could have done better and focused more attention on. Moving forward, I hope to do better. The membership of the ANC continues to invest their trust & hope in me. It is humbling responsibility. As leaders, we must humble ourselves & execute our mandate.
