Tsepo Masilela has been training with AmaZulu FC since last week with Jozef Vukušič expecting a deal to be complete by next week.

AmaZulu FC head coach Jozef Vukušič gave an update on the possible signing of former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfielder Tsepo Masilela.

Masilela has been training with the KwaZulu-Natal-based side since last week with Vukusic expecting a deal to be complete by next week.

The coach says the delay is not about him doubting the player’s capabilities, but boardroom negotiations.

Meanwhile, Usuthu recorded their second Absa Premiership win on the trot when they narrowly defeated Baroka FC 1-0 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.

Though AmaZulu FC caught up with the three sides ahead of them with points they remain second from bottom on the log.

Vukusic says there is a lot of work to be done to get out of that position.
