Former president Jacob Zuma’s upcoming corruption case could face another delay.

This follows reports that Zuma’s attorney Michael Hulley has terminated the services of the counsel in the matter due to uncertainty over who will pay Zuma’s legal fees.

Zuma is due back in court on June 8th on 16 charges including corruption, fraud, racketeering and money laundering.

The state was paying Zuma’s legal fees according to a 2006 agreement with government under former president Thabo Mbeki.

The DA is currently challenging the arrangement in the High Court in Pretoria.

Hulley was not available for comment.
