Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) leader Pieter Groenewald says he has discovered that minorities in Upington in the Northern Cape are allegedly being discriminated against by government.
Groenewald was speaking during his party’s campaign trail in the province.
He says these communities have been neglected.
“If you look at the community at Louisvale just outside Upington, they are discriminated against.”
“They say to me that in the last 25 years only 30 houses have been built for them. They also have a problem with pit toilets. Two years ago, five children drowned in those toilets.”
“So it is quite clear that they are neglected by the governing ANC,” says Groenewald.
