The new Chippa United coach, Joel Masutha, is confident about turning around the fortunes of the struggling Port Elizabeth-based team.
He replaces Eric Tinkler, who parted ways with the club this weekend after only three months as a head coach.
After their loss to Amazulu in Port Elizabeth on Friday, Chippa United is facing relegation as they are second from the bottom in the Absa Premiership table.
“This is not the first time for me to join a struggling team and we ended up going up. Remember, last season at Black Leopards after 15 games they were number 13 and eventually got promoted. It’s a challenge and I’m used to that,” says Masutha.
