A 35-year-old man wanted in connection with the killing of his girlfriend at Tshaulu village outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo has allegedly committed suicide.
The body of the 31-year-old woman was discovered with stab wounds over the weekend.
Police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the suspect was found hanging from a tree at Mpandoni village on Wednesday morning.
Police in Tshaulu have opened an inquest docket following the discovery.
Mojapelo says: “The man is linked to the death of a 31 year-old woman whose body was found stabbed to death. We are investigating that this incident could be domestic related.”
