EFF leader, Julius Malema has voted at Mponegele primary school in Seshego Zone One in Polokwane. Malema arrived at the school where he attended, accompanied by his wife Mmantwa.

His grandmother who died on Saturday was always his voting companion during the previous elections. Malema had this to say: “I want to take this opportunity to really thank South Africans for coming out in their numbers for exercising their democratic rights. A lot of people died for us to vote and we are here to honour those memories and we once more want to thank the ground forces of the EFF who have done everything humanly possible for the EFF to win this election. We have now voted and once the stations are closed the waiting period starts; so we’ll wait and South Africans will tell us what they have decided.”
