Police are investigating the cause of a crash in which four people were killed on the N2 at Paddock near Port Shepstone on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.
KZN Emergency Medical Service spokesperson, Robert McKenzie, says three people were declared deceased at the scene while the fourth victim died shortly after being admitted to hospital.
McKenzie says the collision involved a bakkie and a car.
Two patients are currently recovering in hospital.
The exact cause of the crash is not known at this stage and is being investigated by the police.
