Seven people have died in a collision between two vehicles on the R101 between Modimolle and Mookgophong in Limpopo.
The deceased include the drivers of the vehicle.
Traffic authorities say the collision happened on the R101 near Sterkrivier cross road.
This brings to eight the number of people killed on the province’s road this morning.
In an earlier incident, a passenger was killed when the vehicle he was travelling in hit a trailer of a stationary truck which had blocked the N1 road outside Musina.
Traffic Spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene, says a truck towing two trailers had brake failure, lost control, and blocked the road.
Authorities say a stationary truck’s last trailer was thereafter hit by a sedan as there was apparently poor visibility.
