Jacob Zuma says the issue of land expropriation without compensation needs to be implemented fast, in order for Africans to be economically viable and maintain themselves.

Former president Jacob Zuma has called on all liberation movements across Africa to have a fresh dialogue that will see fellow Africans being out of poverty.

He says the issue of land expropriation without compensation needs to be implemented fast, in order for Africans to be economically viable and maintain themselves.

Zuma was speaking at the Robert Mugabe memorial lecture at Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday evening.

“We missed a point somewhere that is critical, we must re-discuss what is that we can do to take our people out of poverty. We need to answer that question, you can’t dodge it where we have got authority and power. It does not need another war, it needs correction. And that we have the majority to do so.”
