A woman believed to be in her twenties is in a critical condition following a shooting incident on Pastoll Road in Pinetown, west of Durban.
Paramedics say the woman was attacked while sitting in her vehicle.
ALS Paramedic’s spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says, “The patient was in a critical condition, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her body. She was stabilized on scene before being rushed to the hospital for the advanced life support that she had required. At this stage, the events leading up to the shooting are unknown. However, the SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further.”
