After their clash against Black Leopards last Thursday was called-off due to bad weather, Wits last saw their Premier League game in January against Cape Town City, and have three in hand.

Bidvest Wits will be pursuing three important points on Wednesday evening when they host Maritzburg United at Bidvest Stadium. Kick-off at 19:30.

After their clash against Black Leopards was called off due to bad weather, last Thursday, Wits last saw their Premier League game in January against Cape Town City, and have three in hand.

Head coach Gavin Hunt hopes they do not get caught in too much action.

Having just secured a spot in the Nedbank Cup round of 16 after edging out Orlando Pirates 3-2 on penalties this past Sunday, Hunt says the victory serves as a metal boost ahead of the Team of Choice’s visit.

The Students have been conceding some goals lately and the 55-year-old Braamfontein mentor, Hunt indicated that he has to put some work in his defence.

He added that he is not happy to concede in big margins.
