KwaZulu-Natal residents should brace themselves for more wet weather conditions that are expected to continue throughout Monday.

The South African Weather Service says the light rains are common at this time of the year.

Weather forecaster Julius Mahlangu says rain is expected to clear from Tuesday.

“For today we have a thirty percent chance of thundershowers and a sixty percent chance along the north coast including areas like Richard’s Bay, Hluhluwe, Riverview, Mtubatuba. And then looking into tomorrow, we are only expecting a thirty percent chance of some showers and thundershowers in the afternoon over the Western parts of the province.”
