The South African Weather Service says a 60% chance of rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in various parts of KwaZulu-Natal, from Sunday afternoon.
The province is experiencing cooler temperatures following hot and humid conditions.
Weather forecaster Wiseman Dlamini says these weather patterns are likely to persist into Monday.
“About 60% chance of showers and thundershowers over the western part of the province otherwise 30% chance expected on the northern part of KZN. The outlook for tomorrow there is still a possibility of some showers and thundershowers over the western part of KZN tomorrow.”
