A Western Cape man has turned to music to help people in his community adhere to the current lockdown regulations.
Anton Scholtz from Stompneus Bay, a small village along the West Coast, has composed a song called “Let us Keep our Distance”.
It is also aimed at ensuring that South Africans stay positive as they battle the coronavirus pandemic.
Scholtz says he decided to use his musical talent to create awareness of the dangers of the virus.
“What I want to achieve with this song, I want the song to be the most popular, the most famous COVID-19 awareness song ever. That everyone knows the song, everyone hears about the message and believes in the message and lives the message, to make a better life for each and every one of us and to end this pandemic.”
