Waymaker Trade Solutions CEO, Thina Nodada says the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will improve the poor road and rail systems in Africa.

With the official launch of the AfCFTA, experts say there has never been a more opportune time for SMMEs to enter the trade of their goods in the international arena.

They have urged the continent to invest in key transport areas including sea, air, courier, road freight and rail.

The Free Trade Agreement, which has 43 parties and another 11 signatories, is one of the largest free-trade areas by a number of member states, after the World Trade Organization.
