Earlier on Tuesday, the Constitutional Court sentenced Jacob Zuma to 15 months in prison for contempt of court.

For the first time in South Africa’s history, a former President is headed to jail.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Constitutional Court sentenced Jacob Zuma to 15 months in prison for contempt of court.

While some are disappointed over the court’s decision, others say it vindicates the court as the ultimate guardian of the Constitution.
