Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee Thulsie were arrested in July 2016 for plotting a series of attacks on Jewish targets and the US embassy.

They’ve been charged with conspiracy and incitement to commit terror-related crimes.

After spending more than a year and a half behind bars, the case against the Thulsie twins is still far from over.

During previous appearances’s last year, the court heard that the twins have raised a Constitutional challenge to the charges they face and the legislation on which they are being prosecuted on.

They want the Constitutional Court to give more direction into the matter.

It’s understood that the twins attempted to travel to Syria to fight for the Islamic State and Tony-Lee communicated with the terrorist group to learn how to build bombs for terrorist attacks in South Africa.
