Three men will appear at the Alberton Magistrate’s Court on Friday on charges of possession of unlicensed firearms and possession of hijacked vehicles.

The suspects from Tembisa will also be investigated for other crimes.

Hawks Spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi says, “The suspects were arrested in a sting operation which was led by the Hawks and other law enforcement agencies. We have been following these three for some time after we received information that they were allegedly involved in the bank followings. Victims would be followed from banks and they would be robbed at gunpoint.”
