Sundowns beat Celtic in the first round match away from home

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says there are no easy games at this stage of the season.

The Brazilians will take on Bloemfontein Celtic in a crucial league match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Wednesday night.

The reigning champions have 38 points in 19 matches, while log leaders Kaizer Chiefs are on 45 points in 20 games. Sundowns have an opportunity to cut Chiefs lead to just four points should they win.

Sundowns beat Celtic in the first round match away from home. Both teams played last weekend on Saturday with the Brazilians humiliating Chippa United 3-0, while Celtic lost 2-0 to Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium.

Mosimane is not sure if Celtic will play attacking or defensive football.

LISTEN BELOW TO MOSIMANE DISCUSS CELTIC:

Sundowns’ goalkeeper Denis Onyango is a doubtful starter after he was substituted with a tight hamstring in the last match against Chippa. Mosimane says he is cleared to play on Wednesday night.
