Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Grant Kekana says the team still has a lot to play for despite having already been confirmed as DSTV Premiership Champions for the current season.

Sundowns won the league with seven games remaining. They currently have 59 points, which means no other team will be able to surpass that total.

Mamelodi Sundowns will next host the fifth-placed Cape Town City at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Kekana says they always have targets to achieve as a team every season.

“Obviously at Mamelodi Sundowns you know we play each and every game to win. So, it will be the same going into the Cape Town City game. We don’t wanna get complacent, there’s still a lot to play for as much as we won the league, you know, in the league, there are things like records we are willing to break and standards that we have set for ourselves, at the beginning of the season to see if we can achieve them and that’s what will be motivating us to go on and keep winning games.”
