Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is expecting a new striker Mauricio Affonso to score many goals.

The Uruguayan striker signed for the team this week and is already with the team for the pre-season camp in Nelspruit.

Sundowns had Jeremy Brockie as a target man but did not live up to the expectations.

The team already have South American players such as Ricardo Nascimento and Gaston Sirino, Ali Meza and Emiliano Tade.

Former Bafana Bafana, Orlando Pirates and Bournemoth player Tokelo Rantie is currently training with the team with a hope of earning a contract.

Rantie was signed by Cape Town City last season but was immediately released due to disciplinary issues. Mosimane says they have decided to give him a second chance.
