Nomsa Philiso says the SABC owes six creditors more than half a billion rand.

The SABC owes six creditors more than half a billion rand with signal distributor Sentech being owed the most.

This is according to the Acting CEO Nomsa Philiso. The SABC is currently appearing before Parliament’s Communication Committee to brief it about its second quarterly financial report.

Philiso says, “The creditors in themselves, we still owe about R557 million in creditors. And these are about six creditors in essence. The bulk of the money that we owe is owned to our signal distributor Sentech.”
