At least one person was killed and 15 others injured in a tavern shooting in KaNyamazane outside Mbombela in Mpumalanga.
Police have launched a manhunt for two people suspected to be involved in the shooting incident.
Provincial police spokesperson Donald Mdhluli says police are investigating a case of murder and multiple counts of attempted murder.
It is still unknown what triggered the shooting.
