Orlando Pirates have announced promotion of the youngster Siphelele Mbulu to the first team.
The 19 year-old has been playing on regular basis on the Buccaneers’ reserve team on MultiChoice Diski Challenge.
Pirates coach Micho Sredejovic says, “Mbulu has left a really good impression. I have been monitoring him over the past few months at SAB level. He has also been training with us for a couple of weeks, where has shown that he is ready to take the next step.”
Mbulu follows on the footsteps of the newly promoted wonderkid, Lyle Foster who has already made his mark on the first team with registering first goal.
Mbulu who hails from Harding, in KwaZulu-Natal joined Bucs training session on Thursday morning.
