Vilakazi Street in Soweto is a abuzz with revellers attending the last of the 2017 Night market.

The Night market is held every last Thursday of December and the last one never disappointed.

Soweto’s most famous street now catching on to the world trend of street markets with entertainment.

The street has been home to the Vilakazi Street market for over 12 months.

A birth of a different vibe in the biggest township with organisers saying it has become a vehicle to promote local talent.

Vendors say the market has helped them hone their business skills.

Food, drink and art in abundance, regulars say it’s an opportunity to support local talent.

The market is held on every last Thursday of December.

Stalls are priced between R250 to R300 and organisers are hoping that the Night Market will grow bigger and draw more and rare talent.
