Mourners are arriving at the Norman Doubell Hall at Heideldal in Bloemfontein where the former Free State Premier Beatrice Mashoff’s funeral service is set to take place.
Marshoff passed away last Saturday at the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital at the age of 65.
She will be afforded a Category 2 Special Official Funeral.
Hundreds of mourners that include Free State Premier Mxolisi Dukwana , the Province’s Director General Kopung Ralikontsane, former Mangaung mayor Playfair Morule and members of parliament are among the people attending the funeral service.
A marquee has been erected at the Norman Doubell hall in Heidedal.
Mourners have come to pay their last respects to the former Free State Premier Frances Beatrice Marshoff.
Several streets around the area have been cordoned off.
Traffic officials are re-directing traffic to ease access and traffic flow.
