The country has gone on to host major international events such as FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup and many more events. Mosimane speaks of the benefits of new SA.

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has reflected on the apartheid days when he was still growing up in Soweto.

The nation was this week celebrating 30 years after the late President Nelson Mandela was released from prison. Mosimane says he was in Greece when Madiba was released.

South Africa went through a new dispensation in 1994 when Madiba became the first black President of a democratic South Africa.

The political parties were unbanned after Mandela was released, and many political activists were released from prison. Mosimane says apartheid was an evil system.

The country was re-admitted into international sporting events soon after Madiba was released in the early 90s.

The country has gone on to host major international events such as FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup and many more events. Mosimane speaks of the benefits of new SA.
