The state is expected to call more witnesses in the trial against three Radzuma siblings in the High Court in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, on Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday, seven witnesses took to the witness stand.

The siblings are being tried for the murders of Timson Musetsho, Ronald Mani and a person of interest in the killings.

The trial has lined up 150 witnesses. These include investigating officers, a councillor, employees at Vhembe District Municipality as well as relatives of the deceased.

The deceased were killed in separate incidents in Thohoyandou in January 2019. They were against the municipalities investing public funds in the now-defunct VBS Mutual Bank.

Witnesses who took the stand implicated one of the Radzuma siblings, Ndivhuwo, in other crimes.

They pointed at him for an alleged attempted murder and robbery in the Giyani area.

The siblings are also facing multiple charges in addition to the killings of South African Municipal Workers’ Union leaders.
