Former Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka says she is hoping that the party that will win the elections will ensure that South Africa has a female deputy president. Mlambo-Ngcuka was speaking in Morningside, Sandton where she voted.

She has also appealed to those who will be in leadership positions to attend to the challenge of unemployment and poverty particularly among youth.
