Kaizer Chiefs’ newly-signed midfielder Kabelo Mahlasela has noted that to play for Soweto giants comes with a lot of pressure.

The Sebokeng-born player sealed a two-year-and-half deal with the Phefeni Glamour Boys on Wednesday after spending two years and half with Bloemfontein Celtic.

“I am aware of the pressure that comes with playing for Chiefs. The only way to repay those who recommended me to the Chiefs management and to keep the supporters happy is to work hard and make sure we do well as a team. This way our names will be added to the glorious history of the club,” says Mahlasela on the club website.

Mahlasela started training with Amakhosi on Thursday morning as the club set to lock horns with SuperSport United at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday at 6 pm.

However, 27 year-old attacking midfielder says he is looking forward to play in front of thousands of Amakhosi faithful who attend matches around the country.
