A large crowd of community members from Saldanha gathered as four people appeared in connection with the disappearance of 6-year-old Joslin Smith, at Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court on the West Coast.

The girl’s mother, Kelly Smith, and her boyfriend, Jacquen Appollis, are among the four accused.
The two men and two women face charges of trafficking for exploitation and abduction.
The girl, who went missing three weeks ago, has still not been found.
A large contingent of police was stationed outside the court.
