The Gauteng Education Department says it will be closing its online registration process for Grades 1 and 8 in the next four days. Spokesperson Steve Mabona has warned that no further applications for the 2019 academic year will be processed thereafter.
He has also called on parents to make sure that they submit required documents as requested.
“ It must be noted that failure to submit documents will result to applicants forfeiting their positions in the queue. To date a total of more than 535 000 applications have been processed, this translates to 283 000 applications for Grade 8.”
